How to do the trail without driving
The trail lists three tour and transport services (Lux Limousine, Shawnee Shuttle, Wrightway Transportation). Buses, limos and shuttles are welcome but must follow state liquor law and the trail's bus policy: no alcohol carried onto winery property, and no intoxicated guests. The trail suggests checking that your provider is still allowed on the trail before booking. For trains, the trail's trip page links to the Amtrak Carbondale station. Wineries are spread across rural roads, so walking between them is not suggested anywhere on the site.
