How to do the trail without driving

The trail and wineries do not provide transport; the trail points to Traverse City Tourism's list of tour and transportation companies. Downtown Traverse City is about four miles away. The trail advises against Uber or Lyft because return rides back to town are unreliable. Biking is possible but described as challenging, with hills and busy roads. It is possible to visit all ten wineries in one day.
